Abstract

Today, modern Europe is not so keen on accepting refugees. Thus, the legal status that Europe offers to IDPs on the basis of the principle of human rights and freedoms has a negative impact on its political support. Europe is facing a refugee crisis.
Geneva Convention, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and non-governmental organi-zations are trying to solve the legal aspects of the problem of forced migration, the actual burden falls on the leading European countries. Large number of refugees are flocking to Europe in search of a stable and beautiful life.
The modern refugee problem violates the basic principles of Europe. Western European coun-tries are implementing various projects and spending large sums of money to solve the problem. However, the tense situation and the persistence of international conflicts further reduce the pro-spects for resolving the issue of refugees and internally displaced persons.
