Particular attention is paid to Shirvani’s openness to both classical heritage and contemporary innovations (especially enlightenment), his role as a teacher, and the exemplary model he presented to future generations. The study analyzes the in-corporation of mythological figures such as God (Rab, Creator), Paradise (Heaven), Hell, Soul, Devil, Angel, Khidr, and Fairy in S.A. Shirvani’s ghazals, highlighting their artistic expression with unique stylistic colorings. The use of the image of fire—also prominent in the works of Fuzu-li and Nasimi—is especially noted in Shirvani’s poetry, and its value as a spiritual symbol of Azerbaijan is substantiated.
