    Abstract

This paper explores the semantic, structural, and philosophical transformation of folklore in the poetic universe of Bəxtiyar Vahabzade through the lenses of modern theoretical paradigms — semiotics, synergetics, structural semantics, psychoanalysis, mythopoetics, and postmodern poetics. The study argues that Vahabzade does not treat folklore merely as a repository of national memory, but as a self-organizing semiotic energy system within culture. The epic traditions of Dədə Qorqud and Koroğlu, bayatıs, proverbs, fairy tales, and mythological archetypes acquire renewed meanings, merging ancestral codes with contemporary poetic consciousness. From a synergetic perspective, folklore in Vahabzade’s poetics functions as a system that generates harmony from chaos, establishing a dynamic balance between time and meaning. Ultimately, Vahabzade’s poetry transforms folklore from an aesthetic echo of the past into a space of continuous meaning-making — where myth lives through text, and time attains inner harmony through poetic creation.
