It is a well-known fact that the oral folk creativiy based on the written literature enriched it artistically and philosophically from time to time. In this sense, the study of oral folk literature is very important in terms of studying the historical past, customs, everyday life, religious ceremonies, beliefs and rituals of the people, and at the same time, it is considered one of the most valuable sources for studying the sources of ideas and stages of formation of written literature. Since F.Koprulu was connected with the poeple's creativity with his whole existence, he came under an extremely large burden on his own. The study of the orign of the literature of the Turkic peoples, its formation and development stages, occupies one of the important places in his scientific research. The eminent scientist made use of the methods in keep- ing with the advanced world scientific-theoretical thinking and turned the folklore examples that uniquely preserved the early period artistic thinking of the Turkish people, the spiritual world and ethnography of this ethnic group formed over the centuries, into the main scientific direction of his research. F.Koprulu's scientific-theoretical views on ceremonial folklore and its artistic-aesthetic features are also very important in this regard.
