FOLKLORE SOURCES OF PROSE CREATION OF A. HAGVERDIYEV

Abstract

The article talks about some points about the prose creativity of A. Hagverdiyev, who greatly enriched the Azerbaijani literature in terms of themes and ideas with his creativity at the beginning of the 20th century. Looking at A. Hagverdiyev's prose work, it becomes clear that the outstanding artist skillfully used examples of folk creativity in his stories. The mythologisms used in the language of his stories store valuable information as a poetic expression of the archaic, mikic way of thinking of the people. In this sense, the analysis of mythologisms used in A.Hagverdiyev's prose works can make a new contribution to the study of the artist's creativity.
