Keywords:

The article is dedicated to the study of onomastic units used in lullabies and similes that have come down to our days orally, but also with naturalness. Onomastic units are not only a lexical unit, but also a language tool with a unique stylistic load. It is shown that most anthroponyms and toponyms are used in these poems. The stylistic function of these units in songs and similes is revealed against the background of examples. Anthroponyms are often used for analogy, and sometimes for the purpose of indicating what is addressed. The use of toponyms in songs and similes collected from different regions shows the specific region where the event took place and can convey the artistic idea in the poem more realistically. Onomastic units give the reader an idea about the people's life, outlook, psychology, and traditions. In the research work, the stylistic features of onomastic units acting as homonyms (homophones, homoforms, etc.) create an emotional spirit in the listener, and create cynicism in poetry.
