CLASSICAL TRADITION AND LOVE LYRICS IN ASIQ ALASGARS ACTIVITY

Abstract

Love is the leading motif in ashiq poetry. In this sense, love of life and optimism is shown in ashiq activity. Divine love - love for the Creator has been based on love since its origins. In the article the parallels among the love lyrics in the activities of Yunus Emre, Dirili Gurbani, Khasta Gasim, Abbas Tufarganli, Ashiq Ali, etc. and the work of Ashiq Alasgar. In the activity of Ashiq Alasgar the classical traditions and poems on love themes are investigated. In the article, although the great songwriters of the Turkic world are the subject of the research, the activity of Ashiq Alasgar, who was from the Goycha environment, is especially praised. Though it seems to be a continuation of the path of the masters before him, in fact, we are witnessing the way of expres- sion of a new form and content of ideas and artistic uniqueness in the inaccessible means of ex- pression of different examples. Although the chanting of love is the basis of ashiq’s activity, Ashiq Alasgar’s activity contains the essence of unfolding throughout the article as a special research topic.
