HAYDAR ALIYEV EXCELLENCE OF "KITABI-DADE GORGUD"

Abstract

In the article, the scope and importance of the work done was analyzed based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev dated April 20, 1997, about the 1300th anniversary of the "KITABI-DADE GORGUD" epic, and the speeches of the commission created in connection with the implementation of the Decree. The national leader's high value to the national-heritage values was brought into consideration with accurate research, and the question of the belonging of this ancient folklore example to the Azerbaijani people was touched upon.
Initiatives to organize jubilee events at the highest level and intensive work in this direction are conveyed to the reader with a wide interpretation of quotes, ideas and discussions from the speeches of the great leader and are strengthened in the memory. It is especially emphasized that the saga, which is one of the oldest heritage values of the Oghuz Turks, is a worthy contribution to the treasure of world culture.
