FOLK WISDOM IN AZERBAIJANI FAIRY TALES

Abstract

Azerbaijani folk literature, as well as our fairy tales, the history of the ethnos to which it belongs, living conditions, life, beliefs and thoughts, struggle, etc. directly connected. At the same time, in these rich literary examples wisdom derived from people’s life experience, their foresight,anticipation of events, attitude towards friends and enemies, etc. are taking place.In fairy tales the expression of folk wisdom is reflected on the basis of various motifs, images and situations.Moral and ethical features such as a just king, a knowledgeable, wise ruler in the management of the country, betrayal, punishment of a traitor, compassion for orphans in everyday life occupy the main place in the content of these tales. Such features as laziness, betrayal, overcoming the enemy, achieving desires by following the path of struggle through the juxtaposition of the images of Shah Abbas, bald, vizier, lawyer, tailor, gardener in separate motives in our fairy tales find their explanation in the folk activity.
