The possibility of the existence of several copies of the book under the name of Dede Gorgud was fully justified by a manuscript found in Bursa, Turkey. The fact that the work was copied from a common source with the Dresden copy, and therefore the textual similarity is high, is the main indicator of its great scientific value. An important aspect that distinguishes the Bursa copy from the Dresden copy is its cursive writing, which provides ample opportunities for words with controversial readings to be correctly transcribed and explained according to the original. In the article, the texts of the Bursa and Dresden manuscripts are compared with respect to Stories I and II, and the characteristic features that distinguish them are highlighted. Instances where different words are used, words are substituted or omitted, and word order is changed in some sentences are explained by presenting relevant evidence.
