IMAGE OF IBLIS: IN MYTHOLOGICAL – RELIGIOUS CONSCIOUSNESS AND WRITTEN LITERATURE (BASED ON THE PLAY “IBLIS” BY H. JAVID)

Abstract

Huseyn Javid is not only Azerbaijan, but one of the rare figures of human culture. In his works, a call to reach humanity, truth, and justice is heard - confident, stubborn, divine... The events of 1937 were aimed at eliminating the intellectuals and shaking our nation in general.
Huseyn Javid was one of the first victims of this. He did not fit into the age and environment in which he lived. There was a world of difference between him and society. His works and the state of his heroes show this.
The article examines the image of Iblis in mythological-religious consciousness and written literature (based on the play “Devil” by H. Javid).
