HEYDAR ALIYEV AND THE LEADERS OF THE CAUCASUS COUNTRIES: EXPERIENCE OF COOPERATION

Abstract

In the article, the opinions of the leaders of the Caucasus countries about the extraordinary
political activity, reputation and personality of the Great Leader were studied. Suleyman
Demirel, Ahmed Necdet Sezer, Buland Ecevit, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Boris Yeltsin, Vladimir Putin,Eduard Shevardnadze, Mikheil Saakashvili, Karen Demirchiyan, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Ali Akbar
Hashemi Rafsanjani, Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, opinions and confessions of Heydar Aliyev
confirms once again that he is a great historical figure. They considered Heydar Aliyev the leader
of Azerbaijan, the region, and the world, talked about his activities in Azerbaijan and Moscow
during the Soviet period, his second leadership of Azerbaijan during the period of independence,
the change of geopolitics in the Caucasus after Heydar Aliyev’s decision, and his being the
founder of the modern Azerbaijan state and the father of the modern Azerbaijani nation.
