BASELESS ARMENIAN CLAIMS IN GEORGIA

Abstract

The article is devoted to the unjustified claims of Armenians to the countries of near and far abroad, including the ancient Georgian capital of Tbilisi, which is an integral part of the insidious strategic plans of Armenian researchers. The author shows how unjustified Armenian historians fabricated “first sources” to prove that Tiflis is an Armenian city. Armenian scholars try to “prove” by falsification that the ancient name of Tiflis was Armenian Tpkhis, where the population was mostly Armenians, so from 1840 to 1920 the head of the city administration was Armenians, all the prominent cultural monuments of Tbilisi were built by Armenians, and in the whole city was rebuilt on their material means and Tbilisi was turned into one of the central cities of the Caucasus. All this is unreasonable and does not rely on historical facts and is aimed at violating the legitimate rights of the Georgian people.
