Abstract

In response to the provocations of the occupying country, which for many years refused to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully, which was created as a result of Armenia's military aggression, the Azerbaijani Army launched operations under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev and won a resounding victory over the enemy in the 44-day Second Karabakh War. Occupied lands were liberated. The victory transcends the geographical and political borders of Azerbaijan and is of regional and international significance. The article examines the significance of the victory for Azerbaijan, the region and the world.
