The topic of South Azerbaijan in the scientific milieu of Nakhchivan

Abstract

The paper comprehensively researches the topic of South Azerbaijan in the scientific milieu of Nakhchivan; scientific articles, books, and monographs created in this direction are involved in the research. It was noted that the main directions of research on South Azerbaijan in the scientific environment of Nakhchivan are the environment, life and literary heritage of southern literary figures, native language press in South Azerbaijan, dialects of southern branch of the Azerbaijani language, toponyms, and their comparative analysis, teaching of South Azerbaijani literature. Significant scientific results have been obtained. The development of relations between Nakhchivan and South Azerbaijan also had an impact on the scientific environment; numerous scientific articles, books, and monographs have been created, and our relations have expanded due to the activities of our scientists in this direction. Many issues of South Azerbaijani philology have been studied based on relevant scientific analysis. Our history of literature, press, and art criticism has been enriched with research written in the light of national-spiritual integrity and the idea of united Azerbaijan.
