Phenomenon of Rasul Rza in the contemporary Azerbaijan poetry

Abstract

The article studies the phenomenon of Rasul Rza, the creator of modern Azerbaijani poetry. Rasul Rza is a poet with great merits in the literary-artistic, philosophical-aesthetic thought of modern Azerbaijan. Since the middle of the 20th century, Rasul Rza, who managed to distance Azerbaijani poetry from luxury, slogans, pathos, and the popularity of description and singing, has also brought a new breath to our poetry with these activities. This article also discusses the poems dedicated to Rasul Rza by contemporary literary figures living at the same time as the poet.
