Heydar Aliyev and national press

Abstract

In the article is dealt with the exceptional services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of Azerbaijani national press. National Leader Haydar Aliyev, in his 40-year reports and speeches, and interviews to the media expressed favorable opinions about the press. Heydar Aliyev repeatedly stated in his speeches that the press like literature has brought and continues to bring great benefits to our people. Heydar Aliyev at the same time put as a main goal for our press to save the intelligence of our people from the ideas that our enemies fabricated and to explain the rights of citizenship. Because enlightenment was based on national consciousness, recognition of history, protection of religious and national values.

In the article it is noted that high value esteemed by National Leader Heydar Aliyev to Azerbaijani national press and freedom of speech continues successfully by Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan today.
