Abstract

In Ibrahim Yusifoglu's poem “He is the life of the sun, he will not be extinguished”, Heydar Aliyev, who managed to successfully lead his people out of the difficult historical and political trials of the time, is promoted in artistic language as a historical figure.

In the poem, events are described in a descriptive manner, and in the course of the events described, enough space is given to lyrical signs. The epic description of events in the poem is closely combined with lyrical chant. The poem contains the worries of the hero – Heydar Aliyev, a description of the events presented in connection with him and the feelings and emotions caused by them. The problems of the poem reflect the fact that Heydar Aliyev was a statesman.

In Ibrahim Yusifoglu's poem “He was the life of the sun, it will not die out” Heydar Aliyev's political activities, his merits, the struggle for freedom and the revival of the state headed by him as a historical figure are glorified in artistic language.
