National Leader about new period Azerbaijani literature

Abstract

All periods, personalities and events of Azerbaijani literature were equally native and close for our National Leader, as well as none of them was left out of special attention and care. Heydar Aliyev followed all periods of Azerbaijani literature, the creativity of writers lived in this period attentively and learned their works and evaluated. In the thoughts expressed by Heydar Aliyev on the classics who lived and created in the19th and the 20th century such as M.Sh. Vazeh, A.Bakikhanov, G.Zakir, Kh. Natavan, M.F. Akhundzade, S.A.Shirvani, H.Zardabi, J.Mammadguluzade, N.Narimanov, H.Javid, A.Hagverdiyev and others, the feeling of national bigotry towards them is demonstrated. In the article, the humanitarian attitude of the genius personality to our literary heritage is noted with a deep appreciation.

Heydar Aliyev treated with care about the personality and artistic heritage of masters lived during all periods. He talked as a guardian of writers such as Mirza Fatali Akhundov, Abbasgulu aga Bakikhanov, Gasim bey Zakir, Seyid Azim Shirvani, Khurshidbanu Natavan, Najaf bey Vezirov and others who lived in the 19th century; didn’t spare his help in organizing their jubilees, perpetuating their names, publishing their selected works, and etc., and he did all the help he could.
