The image of the great leader Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijani poetry

Abstract

In the article is dealt with the image of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, who fought for the independence and freedom of Azerbaijan in literature, especially in our poetry. The question of the embodiment of his work as the founder and creator of literary policy in poetry is contained. The poems dedicated to great leader Heydar Aliyev is reviewed in three stages. In the first stage is analyzed the poems dedicated to coming of Great Leader to Azerbaijan for saving the people.  In the second stage is given the poems dedicated to Heydar Aliyev’s wisdom, being remembered as an invaluable personality in the memories and his physical absence.  In the third stage is reviewed the poems about the commemoration of Heydar Aliyev in poetry with great respect and love in our poetry after the liberation of the lands of Karabakh. The poems of the poets such as Gabil, Zalimkhan Yagub, Nariman Hasanzade and others are analyzed in the article.
