“Tuti” magazine covers both literary issues and publicism extensively. Of course, in addition to publicism, satirical and at the same time sad poems were published in the magazine, which, in turn, had educational importance according to the idea-artistic principle of the magazine. During its two and a half years of activity, “Tuti” magazine, sometimes satirically and sometimes dramatically approached the political and social events taking place in Azerbaijan in a realistic way, made the people aware of many issues, tried to open the eyes of people who were not enlightened either scientifically or religiously. Although the magazine continued the traditions of “Molla Nasreddin”, which is considered the school of satire of the time, it had specific characteristics, was selected for its uniqueness, was able to value everything, in Sabir's words, it wrote straight and crooked. The most advanced intellectuals and progressive people of the time, such as Mammad Said Ordubadi, Samad Mansur, and others worked in the magazine. In addition, Azim Azimzadeh, who created the foundation of the caricature genre in Azerbaijan and has an innate talent, directly cooperated with “Tuti” magazine. The cover and pages of the magazine were decorated with more than 200 paintings by him. The authors of satirical poems, feuilletons, literary pieces, etc. published in “Tuti” magazine wrote under different signatures; namely these signatures uncontrovertibly proved the identity of the authors in due course. One of the merits of “Tuti” magazine was to show sympathy, respect and esteem to the national and moral values and traditions inherited from our ancestors.
