Mahire Naghigizi’s poetical heritage and modern literary criticism

Abstract

The place and value of Mahira Naghigizi, who stands out among female poets in contemporary Azerbaijani poetry with her own style, has made a number of artistic innovations, and enriched our literature with her poetic heritage, is undeniable. Her creativity is distinguished by its relevance and modernity, and the sincere attitude towards the Motherland and the people she belongs to in the poet's poems attracts particular attention. In the artist's artistic examples, the glorious pages of victory over the enemy in the Patriotic War are praised with great enthusiasm. M.Naghigizi's poetic thinking and national fanaticism do not escape the attention of literary criticism. The poetic examples written by the poet are studied and appreciated by wellknown literary scholars of our republic.
