Prophet Muhammad’s Persona Through the Lens of Nizami Ganjavi

Abstract

Nizami Ganjavi's literary works were considered a valuable source of rich scientific and historical knowledge along with artistic examples written with unprecedented skill. In his poems, the poet not only gave information about the events and personalities of his time, but also reflected information about events that happened earlier and historical figures of those times. The poet expressed his attitude to their sociopolitical activities, and also wrote down stories about these people that were circulating among the people and used stories that were the product of his creative imagination. It is more appropriate to focus on the concept of prophethood in Islam before giving information about the concept of Prophet, his love for the Prophet Muhammad and the praising the Prophet of Islam after God with great love in Nizami Ganjavi’s creativity.
