The theme of South Azerbaijan in the creativity of Aziza Jafarzade

Abstract

 Aziza Jafarzade, Azerbaijani National writer, professor throughout her life and creativity was interested in the theme of South Azerbaijan, was concerned about the hardships our Southern citizens faced; all of this is reflected in her works and researches written in this field as a scientist, writer and patriot. The researches, artistic works, travel impressions and interviews of the writer-scientist stand out with their readability, engaging character and research. She was engaged in intense literary and scientific creativity, besides that she was also engaged in the difficult task of researching, revealing and promoting the lives and creativity of Azerbaijani masters – especially, South Azerbaijani women who secretly expressed their desire for freedom from slavery in their poems but could not reveal it. Her noble work has been met with great interest and appreciation on both sides of our Homeland, and even in European countries. Most of Aziza Jafarzade’s works, researches related to South Azerbaijan had a great impact in the literary world and paved the way for the creation of new works. Her effort in this field has been greatly appreciated on both sides of Azerbaijan.
