The March 31 genocide, 1918 through the eyes of our national press

Abstract

 In the article “The March 31 genocide, 1918 through the eyes of our national press” we learn about the ethnic cleansing policy and genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis at the beginning of the 20th century through the materials published in the press of that period.  We obtain information about the regions of Azerbaijan where the March 1918 massacre took place, and which media outlets published the articles related to the events in this article and witness the publication of speeches and publicistic articles by some of our intellectuals and writers in the press of that period. In the article it is dealt with the heavy blows that Armenian nationalists inflicted on the Azerbaijani press during the bloody March events of 1918 in Baku under the guise of Bolshevik-Dashnak forces and their destruction of an electric printing house equipped with the most modern printing equipment imported from Germany.
