From fiction to scientific literature

Abstract

The article deals with the scientific - literary heritage, political – public activities of Isa Habibbeyli, active member of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The author of the article researches monographic studies and more than 60 works of Isa Habibbayli who is known for his multiaspected activity on the various branches of literature based on periodization concept of Azerbaijan Literature.   The author investigates Isa Habibbayli’s opportunities for artistic creativity. Isa Habibbayli studied the legacy of our classics and creativity of contemplative poets and writers of XIX-XX centuries as well as he approached with care and attention to the literature of the independence period, he researched the literary works of master poets and writers of this period. He also conducted valuable researches about their period, works and creativity. Known with his scientific-theoretical and literary-critical conciderations and being popular as a valuable scientist Isa Habibbayli’s precious studies are analyzed in the article.
