Khurshudbanu Natavan in memories of her contemporaries

Abstract

The article titled “Khurshudbanu Natavan in memories of her contemporaries” presents translation of various texts (prose, poetry) from Azerbaijani into Russian in the context of studying issues on translation.

The author achieves to deliver the characterization of the poet by her contemporaries to readers in accordance with main principles of traditions of translating literature. The author  was able to place the essence of the language style specific to the time of the series of memories into the literary norms of another language.  As a result, an interesting literary text is created.
