Mahammad Fuzuli – the first great Turkish and Turan poet

Abstract

In the article it is analysed the attitude of genius Azerbaijani poet Mahammad Fuzuli to national-ethnic issues in his works written in Arabic, Persian and Turkish in middle ages, and his opinions about literary, poetic and linguistic opportunities of existence of the Turkish language along with other languages used in Arabic Iraq. The article talks about prominent works done by our poet with his deep knowledge and natural talent in the field of objective difficulties of writing meaningful and fine works, adaptation of aruz meter and etc in the Turkish language relative to the abovementioned languages. At the same time his positive thoughts about Turkish identity in Iraq-Baghdad environment, special advantages of the Turkish language, Turkish spirit, Turkish morality, and his writing in mother tongue due to the his Turkish origin are proved with the historical-literary facts.
