Heydar Aliyev’s Fuzuli struggle – “Ask what kind of love this is…”

Abstract

In the article is analyzed the National Leader’s value to Mahammad Fuzuli, great Azerbaijani poet. His struggle for Fuzuli when he was still working in the USSR State bodies, his correspondence with foreign embassies regarding the protection and restoration of the poet's grave, the courage and pride he instilled in our national writers and poets is researched in the article. Once again we are sure that in relation to the classical heritage the characteristic features such as such as protecting, patronizing and instilling courage, as well as taking responsibility and defending its values, are the practical indicators of Heydar Aliyev's quality.
