Reflection of the I Karabakh War in verse of Elchin Iskenderzadeh

Abstract

Most of the twenty two published poems by Elchin Iskanderzadeh are dedicated to the First Karabakh war. In this sense, works of the poet such as “The Rock of Mamed Araz”, “Shakhmar Shikeste”, “Climate of Indifference”, “Karabakh Chronicle”, “Songs of Turanian Warrior”, “This Fortress is Our Fortres” attract attention. In this article, researcher Bahar Mammadova tried to analyze those works that are rich in patriotism. Short poems consists of separate passages. Despite the similarity in form, each of them in its content is an independent poetic work. Also, each of these poems is dedicated to outstanding historical figures - scientists, poets and artists. Other scientists also have studies dedicated to the poetry of E.Iskanderzadeh. Of course, the author also mentioned their research in her article.
