Abstract

Azerbaijani poetry, like the poetry of other Turkic peoples, originated from the Holy Quran and was mainly based on "Eloquence" the style of the literary language, poetic and vision categories, prettiness of meaning and words, as well as means of literary expression.
It is known that in the sacred verses of the Holy Quran there is a meaning within a meaning. Each of our classical poets, since they made the Holy Quran as a book of their life, has read and understood such verses, and from time to time has become a "Hafiz" - a person who knows the Quran very well and built the pillars of the creative heritage in the light of wisdom and miracles of the Holy Quran.
Azerbaijani literature were clearly manifested by sources of idea at the beginning of the XX century. However, although the representatives of romanticism were rightly inclined towards Turkism and Islamism, those who wanted to free the people from tsarist slavery and bind them with the chains of Bolshevism under the name of class struggle, created a literature consisting only of blasphemy and rebellion against the God.
