ELASTIC PARAMETERS OF THE EARTH'S SOLID CORE

Abstract

It is shown that the adopted distribution of linear physico-mechanical parameters of the medium and pressure don't correspond to fundamental requirements of the mechanics of deformable solid media concerning the strength, stability and actuality of velocities of elastic wave propagation in deformable solid media in the existing models of the Earth (in the example of the core).
