Abstract

The method of adaptive mesh to improve the accuracy of numerical solution of the problem of the flow at the phase interfaces inthe gas-lift well is considered. Numerical simulation of onedimensionalmodel of gas-lift process, where the movement in gas-lift well is described by partial differential equations of hyperbolic type is conducted. Difference schemes for the gas-lift model of the process on a nonuniform grid, concentrated in sub-regions with high gradients is developed. The results of the proposed algorithm is illustrated on a model problem.
