MIXED LIGAND COMPLEX COMPOUNDS OF TERBIUM WITH HYDROXYNAPHTHOIC ACID

Abstract

We have synthesized complex compounds of terbium with 2-hydroxy-3-naphthoic acid of the
composition Tb(ОНA)3×nАm×хH2О, where OHA –anion 2-hydroxy-3-naphthoic acid, Am – 1.10-
phenanthroline (n=2; х=1); 2,2'-dipyridyl, diphenylguanidine (n=1; х=2), Н2О (n=0; х=2). Spectral-luminescent properties of obtained compounds were studied. It was determined that the compounds are thermally stable up to 280°С. By IR-spectroscopy method it was defined that hydroxynaphthoic acid is bidentate in hydroxynaphthoates of terbium.
