INNOVATIVE APPROACH FOR IMPROVEMENT OF MARGINAL RESOURCES OF KUR-ARAZ LOWLAND OF AZERBAIJAN

Abstract

Salinization and pollution of lands led to the degradation of soils in Kur-Araz lowland. Biological technology based on the introduction of salt-tolerant agricultural crops and wild halophytes in
culture of rangelands is developed for phytorehabilitation of marginal resources of lowland.
