    Abstract

Temperature dependence of electrical conduction  (T) , Hall coefficient R(T) and the coefficient of thermo electromotive force α (T) in TlIn1-xYbxTe2 (0  х0,10) solid solutions at 80-1000 K
have been investigated. Effective masses of electrons and holes have been determined on the basis
of kinetic parameters. It is found that starting from x=0.05 TlIn1-xYbxTe2 solid solutions belong to
narrow-gap semiconductors having high values of interaction matrix element.
