    Abstract

Sufi phenomenology presents a synthesis merging Sufism with Husserl's phenomenology and bridges Eastern and Western philosophical traditions. According to Sufi phenomenology, time accompanies the cognitive process, and its trajectory follows a cyclic pattern. Thus, the “now,” situated at the cross-point of the divine and material lines of time, serves as the genesis of consciousness, with time acting as the defining boundary of cognition. This approach not only facilitates comprehension of the intricate relationship between the “now” and universal time but also sheds light on novel perspectives regarding the connections between cognition and time, as well as space and time.
