GENRES OF MOLLA PANAH VAGIF’S POEMS

Abstract

In the article is dealt with services of a prominent Azerbaijani poet, a founder of realist poetry school – Molla Panah Vagif (1717-1797) in the development of our national poetry. The author demonstrates the essence of the reforms carried out by Molla Panah Vagif in the XVIII century to change and renew the current state of Azerbaijani poetry in terms of genre, and scientifically interprets on the innovations associated with the name of the great poet.
