DAGLIGH SHIRVAN ECONOMICAL REGION’S TOTAL WIND ENERGY POTENTIAL STUDY BY REMOTE SENSING SYSTEM

The research is dedicated to the wind energy potential study and estimation on the mountainous regions. For the first time, the wind energy potential of Dagligh Shirvan Economic region selected was studied by aerospace method. In 12 directions wind rose of the region was established and the wind index in the west direction wind index was determined about 17,84%. Due to the hieght from the sea level (DEM) Digital Elevation Model was established and hight histogram was worked out. The total wind potential was estimated energetically.
