This article presents the results of studies of the selective purification of petroleum fractions for various purposes, in particular, the distillate of transformer oil and kerosene, diesel fuel distillates with various contents of aromatic hydrocarbons and sulfur compounds, as well as Naftalan oil by ion-liquid extraction purification using N-methylpyrrolidoneacetate as a selective solvent. The results obtained allow us to speak about the possibility of creating waste-free, environmentally acceptable technologies for the purification of fuels and oils that meet current and future requirements.
