    Abstract

The city of Shusha is the pearl of Karabakh, the embodiment of cultural and social life, the historical land of Azerbaijan. As a result of archeological excavations, the history of Shusha, the center of the Karabakh khanate, dates back thousands of years. The analysis of the names of the Transcaucasian Conservatory, the city of Shusha, which is called the cradle of music in Azerbaijan, and its neighborhoods, once again shows that the real owners of this land are the Turks. The views on the etymology of the Shusha toponym, the names and affiliations of the tribes involved in the construction of its neighborhoods give a strong belief that this land is a Turkic country.
