        Abstract

        The article deals with the issue of covering a given limited area on a plane with simple figures. Circle sectors whose centers are outside the limited area are taken as simple figures. It is required to choose the center points of circle sectors with different radii in such a way that these sectors completely cover the limited area and the ratio of the sum of the areas of these sectors to the area of the limited area is minimal.
