ASTEROID HAZARD AND INSTRUMENTAL CAPABILITIES OF THE SHAMAKHY ASTROPHYSICAL OBSERVATORY

Abstract

The ’ability of’ Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory’s ’telescopes’ to detect ’near Earth’ astreroids and comets in the sky-monitoring mode is considered. It is shown Maksutov’s mirror-lens telescope AST-452 fits for this aim the best of all.
